Ruipeng Liu’s Personal Page

I am Ruipeng Liu, a 4th-year Ph.D. student at Syracuse University, advised by Dr. Garrett E. Katz. My research interests are in neuro-symbolic AI and reinforcement learning. Prior to pursuing my Ph.D., I obtained my M.S. degree from the same institution in 2022 and my B.S. degree from Hong Kong Baptist University in 2018, during which I spent one semester as an exchange student at Dalhousie University in Fall 2016.

Before returning to academia in 2020, I worked as a Big Data Assistant Engineer in Shenzhen, China for two years, focusing on backend developing using Java and Python. In addition to research, I have also served as a teaching assistant for undergraduate computer science courses, including Introduction to Analysis of Algorithms.
